Mindful Parenting

This one-day introductory workshop will help parents enhance their parenting skills by helping them to “tune into” what’s happening, inside and around them. This workshop will offer parents fresh, straightforward approaches to developing positive behavioral approaches, while generating compassion and understanding of the behavioral issues they experience with their children at home.

Mindful Parenting emphasizes how the parent’s personal familiarity with mindfulness seeds the ground for family life infused with attention, awareness, kindness, empathy, compassion, and gratitude.  Opportunities for practical mentorship with your child will be an integral component of the workshop.
